Mousehole's Latest Recruit
Monday 16th September, 2024 - 2:36pm
Mousehole Male Voice Choir were delighted this week to
welcome our newest and youngest member to the ranks. Henry Ashbee aged
just 19 and a resident of the village of Paul where we rehearse is now a
fully fledged Second Tenor and other members of that section have
already been commenting on the quality of his voice. Henry will
certainly be an asset to the choir and we hope he will enjoy being a
part of the Mousehole sound and a part of the tremendous camaraderie of
the choir for a great many years to come.
The
attached pictures show Henry being presented with his choir tie and
lapel badge at rehearsal on Monday by Chairman Brett Farmer to great
applause from the choir.
All of our rehearsals are
"open" and we welcome anyone who wants to come along to Paul Church
between 7.30 and 9.30 pm on Monday evenings to listen to part or all of
the rehearsal and if interested in joining, to speak to our MD Stephen
Lawry. We currently have three more prospective members going through
their 13 week probation periods who are expected to become members
during October, including a young chap aged just 16 so this really is
open to men of all ages!
