Christmas Concert Charities

On Monday 5th February at choir practice, choir chairman Brett Farmer presented cheques to the two charities to benefit from our 2023 Christmas concert. Receiving the cheques on behalf of their respective charities were Maria Adams from CLEAR and Marnie Cude from the The Cinnamon Trust.

CLEAR are a Cornwall based charity and are registered with the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) with a vision for a community safe and free from abuse, with the opportunity to flourish after trauma. Their services are focused on preventing and reducing the harm caused by emotional trauma and building emotional resilience and wellbeing.

The Cinnamon Trust’s is there to relieve the elderly and anyone who has been diagnosed as suffering from a terminal illness by providing or assisting in the provision of care for their companion animals for which they are no longer able to provide and secondly to prevent the suffering of and cruelty to animals whose elderly or terminally ill owners have died, or are no longer able to care for them.
