Paul Feast 2013

Tuesday 5th November, 2013 - 7:04pm

On Sunday 20th October, Mousehole Male Voice Choir presented its annual Paul Feast concert in Paul Church when their guest artiste was the Newlyn born Soprano Hannah Pascoe. The singers were in excellent form and received enthusiastic appreciation from the audience. The final item when Hannah joined with the Choir to sing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' was a thrilling, and fitting, end to a brilliant concert.
The choir's President, Rev Julyan Drew, was present to award a 20 year Service Badge to David Prouse from the Baritone section.

This was the Choir's last concert before they join the massed voices of the Cornish Federation of Male Voice Choirs in the Royal Albert Hall, London. On Monday evening, a television crew from ITV filmed the Choir as a 'trailer' for a programme about the RAH concert.

On their return from London it will be straight back to a busy schedule of concerts before Christmas and future engagements stretching into 2015.

The choir's latest CD recording, 'Christmas In Mousehole' is now available, price £10. To order your copies just email info@mouseholemalevoicechoir.com or 'phone 01737 731 479.

The CD features traditional Cornish Carols and a number of popular Christmas songs. The choir last made such a seasonal recoring in 1970 and this is to meet requests from Cornish Cousins around the world who want a taste of home.
